SimpleStudy, which is an online education program provides exam paper solutions and notes to the students of Ireland, helping them prepare for examinations. This is a project that was built from scratch as per the requirements of the client, providing them a Learning Management System that is flexible, scalable, and robust that is capable of accommodating a large number of subscribers seeking e-learning solutions.
Similar to how projects face different challenges along its journey, Chapter247 Infotech too as their fair share of challenges that were mitigated efficiently by the team to deliver SimpleStudy education solutions just the way the client liked to have.
The key challenge was to build the entire project from scratch keeping multi-dimensional functionalities like payments, subscriptions, user hierarchy, and the exam organizational structure intact so that the operations happen seamlessly without any glitches.
To provide scalability and flexibility for a large number of subscribers, we chose to build the SimpleStudy web application using the Codeigniter framework, which is a PHP based framework. Codeigniter has offered MVC (Model-View-Control) to deliver a class-apart UX to the customers.
